I just picked this head up for $200 at a local music store, its a solid state power section with a 12ax7 tube pre amp, 2 channels and so far it sounds great. I got it on a trial basis and would like some input if anyone is familiar with it? Very Marshall esc and has the gritty crunchy tone I have been looking for, anyone have any insights on different pre amp tubes?

Well I can see why mums the word now,,LOL. I had been jamming with it at bedroom levels and it sounded pretty good, but when opened up to where the harmonics come out and the feedback is there and controllable this amp lacks punch and clarity, compared back and forth with it and my mace and the mace stomped it, sure the tuberider had tons more distortion but when you get it up to a playable level the tone just turns to crunch. Luckily the shop owner let me take it on a trial basis, its going back.
