  • 470KA stereo 16mm split shaft pot?

I'd like to replace the master volume on a Hayden Mofo with a PPIMV. But only a 16mm pot will fit inside. I don't want to ruin the PCB.
The problem is that I can't find a 470KA stereo 16mm split shaft pot! I find only blend pots or stereo around 10K or 100K.

Does anyone know a source? BTW, if it's a long shaft it'll be better!
    Thanks!

    dual 500lin 16mm (90c)
    Rotary Potentiometers
    closest I can find..
I have bought from them they are reasonably prompt

or if you are following the "Lar mar/ layout" mod thing.. http://music-electronics-forum.com/t21718/
perhaps you could get a replacement part for a trace elliot (well they are distantly related to Hayden)

    B250k 73-POT-B250k- DG

Thanks oc disorder! Unfortunately a 250K pot isn't the best for an EL84 amplifier. It has to be a 470K. I'll try to find a logarithmic pot otherwise I'll go with a linear.

I see a maximum grid resistor spec of 300K for that tube.

Don't know why a 470K could possibly be better or why it would matter to the power tube as long as it was within spec. The driver tube might have an opinion.

Yes, it's 300K for fixed bias and 1M for cathode bias. Mofo is cathode biased with two pairs of EL84s. I prefer to find a 470K instead of 250K. But still trying to find one!
