Google "laser engraved plates" , usually can be made by trophy engraving suppliers..
    I have seen beautiful examples.
A few guys here have also made very professional looking front panels.
Search around here too, I've seen some posts about that.
    PS: nice build !!

Find an old junk car yard where they have a 'super' model of something and whip the chrome badge off it

I got mine made by Weber. http://scopeboy.com/scopeblog/wp-con...2/imgp1293.jpg

Tubeswell, my last amp was a hybrid, I'm tempted to steal the badge off a Prius.

I think it's laser engraved anodized aluminum , but let's hear Steve.

Yes, it's laser engraved aluminium. I don't know how it works, but it looks very similar to the tweed era Fender nameplates.

Steve, that looks smart, To laser engrave the aluminium they apply a coating before engraving it. I think thermark is one brand of coating.

Googling is faster than asking here.

                          Steve

The letting on that name plate of yours is that silver or gold as I am having mine made there as well .

It's silver. Or aluminium coloured, to be pedantic.

It has a gloss black coating that the laser burns off, revealing the shiny aluminium underneath. Looks very similar to the tweed Fender nameplates, except I think those were anodised: the black seems to fade with age.

I supplied my own font to Weber.

                              Hello Steve

That's what I am considering myself the same colors and I understand there is gold lettering as well but prefer the silver .

                              Appreciate your help .

                              Thanks
                              Chuck
