i just got a Musicmaster Bass amplifier in a trade for some motorcycle parts and it sounds great.....................until the amplifier warms up, then it sounds like a television tuned to a channel that isnt there, makes that "snow/white noise" sound. the tubes all LOOK ok with nothing inside them broken loose and they dont have that white looking residue filling the insides either. i have never owned a tube amplifier that gave me problems so this is all new to me. i A< experienced with electronic repairs and i can do PCB soldering it's just the diagnosis part i have problems with. any clues? i really cannot afford to take it in and pay the 75 dolllar diagnostics fee. it appears that the problem begins once the amplifier really warms up.

Truthfully, it could be any number of things.
Just coming out and saying "Oh yeah, it's the ..." is not feasable.
I may be totally incorrect in this assumption.
The amp needs to be opened up & systematically diagnosed.
My first thought though, is a leaky coupling cap between stages.
If you have the equipment it may be possible to walk you through the repair.
