Anyone know the difference between the original and the GT? Thinking of buying an original but not sure about price.

I just joined the forum, so that's why my response is here in May. I just picked up a Mazerati GT in a multi-guitar and amp trade, and it is kind of Trainwreck-like. No preamp volume control, but TONS of gain with the one volume up even just a bit and the guitar's volume dimed. Then it cleans up with the guitar vol. rolled off. VERY dynamic.
I've heard that the pre-GT version is like a Carmen Ghia with twice the power.
I'm in the faaaar west Chicago suburbs, so I don't get in to Makin' Music much anymore, but I believe they are one of the biggest Dr. Z dealers in the country and have most models in stock.
