Just wanted to intro. I'm Rick...playing off and on since I was 16, and still cannot play for crap. I just bought an 8.5 on a scale of 10 Ampeg Rocket 2 from 65. It sounds absolutely great. It's got all the original tubes, including the sylvanias. It's got the original footswitch. The blue checked tolex has two tiny tears in the top back edge of the cab top. Otherwise, it's almost like new. The chrome plated control is shiny with just some very faint scratches that you have to look for.
I've kind of got the wattage spectrum covered. I've got two other 18 watt amps: a Ceriatone Marshall clone, a Ceriatone 5E3 Tweed clone, a Carvin Belaire 2x12 and a Bassman RI Ltd.
I hope to be able to learn a lot from y'all - or as it was where I grew up, from yinz.
