  • "Balanced" Line output of guitar amp

I have a fender acoustasonic SFX amp. I has a vocal channel and an instrument channel. There's a balanced line XLR output in the back with only a single volume control. Does anyone know if the XLR output is affected by the individual volume and tone settings on the 2 channel's front controls?

Why don't you just plug it in to a mixing console and see whether it is pre or post vol/eq etc. ?

There's a balanced line output only in Acoustasonic SFX II. The feature is not included in Acoustasonic SFX (AFAIK).

The feed point for the feature is just before the -stereo- FX inserts, which are subsequently followed by the master volume control and the "SFX" analog effect processor circuit.

The line out mixes MIC and instrument channels + the amp's stereo effects to one mono signal. So yes, the channel controls should affect it, also the mono inserts in channels. The stereo insert loops, SFX feature and the master volume won't naturally affect it, nor do the AUX inputs.
