Right... One is "standard" and the other is "Rick-O-sound"

The Magnatone Custom 480 Stereo was two completely independent sides, both amp and preamp. I've restored a number of these and they are uber-cool. Finding one my be a different story.

yeah it's just a bass. The "guitar" side is just a two channel guitar/bass amp with overdrive. You could play guitar or bass through it. This amp has one stereo input jack with tip and ring going to bass and guitar amp sides. You can link the two as well.

I say "guitar" side and "bass" side but they're not exclusive. Check out verellen amps facebook, called broadgauge

Ah - you are just down the road, and the page was most interesting.
I disigned this for a friend about a year ago. Two 6L6 power sections with a common power supply. Also a built in effects device.

Cool build Firechief! Yeah stereo is the future! Guitarists are just a few decades behind, as usual.

Now If I can get my octaphonic pickup built and my 8 channel 8x2xEL84 amp....

As far as the best guitar tone out there, guitarists today are approximately 70 years "behind", and still sounding great.

If they ever do come up with "5+1 surround" or "octaphonic" effects processors you can bet some guys here are goin to build a compatible amp with tubes.
