Hi all, I recently got a Mesa Heartbreaker and started doing my homework. I saw that a few people here have experience with them and I want to know what mods are out there to get the most out of the amp? Better reverb, bias pots, whatever -please share! Thanks very much

Do you have a compulsion to mod your gear or are there specific things about this amp you would like to improve or change? I'm not trying to be contrary. I have a compulsive need to tinker and mod but experience has tought me to have a specific goal. It saves on spoiled gear sold at a bargain rate.

What would you like to change or improve about the amp?

You can start by gluing or securing certain parts that break off the circuit board. Look for large block resistors that break loose.
There's a couple places on the board where the circuit tracks burn, you might want to check that.
That's about all I can remember on that amp.
      Modify this? what for?

Mesa Boogie amps are one of the worst amps to modify.
        And repair.
To start you will have to draw the layout of the boards (or the circuit that you want to change)
        Just my 2 cents.
