6a80 mod to make custom egnater like rebel 40/80 ?

Would it be possible to mod a 6a80 by adding 2 el34's in place of 2 of the 4 6l6's, along with adding a wattage knob , tube mix knob, 4/8/16 ohm spkr. selections,buffered effects loop and a direct line out? The egnater 30 is a killer amp and I think a 40/80 would be the ultimate.What extra parts would I need besides the obvious ones ? mahalo jimi/laynor

Not sure what else you would need, besides the "obvious" ones. But ......

I'll build one ; for my next project. Except, I use a pair of electronic volume controls instead of the "tube mix knob" and the "wattage knob", and configure the twin power amps in mixed mode configuration driving the O/T.

Thanks. I think I'll try it too on my next project. Love my rebel 20.But could use a little more power and reverb.
