Footswitch Build question ?

I am turning an old 3 button footswitch into a A/B switch for 2 different amps and a channel switcher for 1 of the amps. I want to put LED`s in for the A/B will I need to run a 9 V battery or will there be enough juice in there to run the small LED`s ?

To do this, you will need a 9V battery or a external power supply.
