Using pedals with my 5e3s

I have built three tweed deluxe amps (two for my one use and one for a friend) and I have been busy over the last 5 or 6 months getting to know them and learning how to get sounds I want with my different guitars. Done a couple of mods (on two of them I did Bruce's two mission mods for humbuckers).

I am about to start using my pedals - I have a couple of distortion pedals, a compression/sustain pedal and a chorus. Any advce before I go ahead?
