  • I've got a speaker question, guys...

I've got a '62 Bandmaster bottom here which was loaded with Jensen EM1220s, date coded 220606, without Fender stickers. Obviously not the right speaker date-wise. However, I'm curious as to which speakers actually would've been in a '62 cabinet. Also, I wasn't aware that Fender ever used the Concert Series speakers in any of their cabinets. If I'm wrong, I'll gladly admit it.

So, the question is -- Which speakers would've been used in a '62 cabinet?

    Thanks,
    dB

Here a shot of my, mostly all original, blond Bassman, and one of the speakers in the 2x12 cabinet.
Just click on one of the thumbnails.

By the way... in order to pay some suprise medical bills, this amp head and bottom, as a combo, will be on Ebay sometime in the next week or so.

Bruce, I also hope everything is OK.

Back to the subject of the amp, when it goes up for auction, could you post a notice here? Thanks!

            Hey Bruce,
I hope all is well and nothing bad.

Man, going to the hospital can get expensive.

That amp looks like the same model Brian Setzer plays on. It should do well on Ebay. Good rockabilly amp.
