  • Princeton Chorus amp cabinet questions

I picked up a chorus amp, and the front grille cloth and the frame it is attached to is missing. My question is about the wooden frame.
    1. Is it just a square frame like a picture frame? Or do you cut out circular holes to match up with the speaker hole in the cabine?
    2. Is the out side perimeter edge of the frame rounded or just a square cut?
    3. How thick is the frame?
    Thanks Jack

The original grill cloth frame was strange.
To include a spot to attach the Fender logo.
You can clearly see the shape in the picture I attached.
As to rounding the edges, the grill cloth will cover it.
    You don't want it sharp.
As to thickness: you want a slight recess to the rest of the cab.
    Sorry I don't have dimensions.
    Hope this helps.

Finding the right one may take a little time.
Look at photos of original amps & compare what you find for sale.
        They're out there.
I entered "Fender amp logo" in Google & then hit images.
        Try it.
