  • 1960 rickenbacker B14A amp

1960 Rickenbacker B14A amplifier. Two channels, tremelo, 3-12ax7's, 2- 6v6, 5ar4. Very clean, works great. Any idea how giggable this amp would be and what it may be worth?

It's a collectable item but not very useful as a gig amp.
might be useful in a studio. Check ebay to see what others have sold for. Not a lot, I am guessing...

Thanks, soundguruman. I appreciate your time. I was guessing it to be a $300-$400 amp.

Actually Rick amps are pretty cool. Not many people realize that Rick designed the first pickup, the first guitar amp. Therefore they basically set the standard that everybody else followed.
Historically, it's noteworthy and collectable. Belongs in a museum.
Leo Fender did not build the first guitar amp. Although the media has tried to convince us of this, not really true at all.
And so there is a lot to be learned from the early Rick amps.
