frontman 15g buzzing

Hey guys,
I have been searching everywhere to find what settings I should set my frontman 15g amp to, to prevent buzzing. I also have an epiphone les paul guitar, so if anyone also knows what settings to set the guitar at to help with my buzzing problem that would be great. I know its an electric guitar, but I play mostly country.

One doesn;t cure buzzing with settings, one repairs the source of the buzz so it doesn;t occur at all.

Buzzing is a mechanical vibration, and so it might be less or more depending upon the notes you play or indeed how you set the controls, but it shouldn;t happen at all, so you need to solve the underlying issue.

This is funny since it relates to another thread where I already wrote this... However, those Epiphones usually have a tune-o-matic bridge, not sure with les paul, but it might have one. The ground on those guitars is pretty weak in general terms. When you turn down the treble on the amp does the buzz go away slightly? When you turn up the treble to 10 does the buzz just go crazy? To me this would be the guitar alone or a bad ground from power outlet if it is the amp.

But maybe it is really is a "buzz" like in vibrations from the amp as Enzo stated... Let us know if it is one or the other... Which buzz are we talking about mechanical or electrical?

That is a very good thought. I was just assuming a mechanical buzz, it could indeed be electrical.

And it also could be something like flourescent lights.

Yeah unfortunately my repair shop room is full of flourescent lights but the good thing is I can turn off the lights. The funnier thing is that my stuff is still buzzing so then I have to fix it... LOL.
