  • Replacing a marshall JCM2000 input jack; which one do I need?

I need to put a new input jack in my JCM2000 and I am not sure which on I need? I want to put a cliff jack in but I dont know if I need a 4 pin PC mount jack or a 4 pin jack with solder lugs. If anyone out there knows which one I need please advise I would appretiate it very much...thanks.

PC mount jacks get soldered to a circuit board (PCB 'printed circuit board')
A jack that has solder lugs typically is mounted to the panel itelf.

I think he knows the difference.
He was asking which style his amp has.
I would think a JCM2000 would require PCB type Jacks.

Yes it is definitely PCB mount type and I think part #GN10201M-NEU will work fine.

Check this site to look at the jack...

The part is cheap but shipping will be a lot more, so I always order other things I am looking to buy at the same time to justify the shipping costs.

I've used these in a 900slx, just make sure our pinout is the same.

I'd open the chassis and *LOOK*.
