Series parallel and ohm's law?

Well, is there much difference between the two schems below?



I like the first one as it could be a simple candidate for a series/parallel<>parallel switch for the 16/4 ohms option.

Series/parallel and Parallel/series are the same for purposes of combining speakers.

Cool Enzo, thanks a lot again for your reply. So first drawing will it be! With a 4/16Ω switch. Think fenders in 4X12 Tho, can't stack two of thoses with a 4 Ω head! You've made me see the light twice today!
