  • Switching 4/8 ohms, what type of switch?

    hello,

Was looking to switch between 4 ohms and 8 ohms (for speaker input) on output transformer on my new build. what type of switch would be best for that idea?

Do you mean type of switch, such as rotary, slide, toggle, or the switch rating?

how about dpdt switch. toggle. would that be the right choice? on-off-on?

You don't want on-off-on. You don't want to leave the output not loaded, so no need for an off position. A SPDT would work on-on (4-8)
