I'm putting together a 4x12 cab that I'm going to drive with my Traynor 50-watt tube combo housing 1 12" Vintage 30. My plan is to put 2 Vintage 30s in the cab and complement them with another set of speakers. My preferred style is generally bluesy hard rock/metal, think GnR, Extreme, etc, with a little bit of modern hard rock thrown in. I use a PRS Swamp Ash Special and a Michael Kelly (very close to a Les Paul). I hardly have any experience dealing with speakers, but I've read that pairing the Vintage 30s with either a pair of G12T-75s or a pair of G12H30s is a good way to go. I'm just wondering if anyone has opinions on which would be best suited for my purposes, if anyone's tried it, or if you have any other recommendations (in the same price range). Thanks!
