    Well one thing I am starting to believe, is that secret to the sound I want, so far from what I can see lies simply in tweaking the C6 and/or C7 components values. I will leave pretty much all the other mods in, and play around with C6 and C7 :-) And the values you suggested are great, same suggestions on the other forum :-) Great minds think a like

      These amps are insanely bright and no mids at all. I modded one and want to say I adjusted the tonestack mid cap and I also increased the value on the mid pot to give it more range because it really is non-existent stock. Any thing you can do to give this amp more Bass frequency response is also a huge help.

        Yes that is true, so what exactly cap did you change and to what value please, and also what pot did you put in

          Think I put a .68 in middle and .047 in treble and changed the pot to 100k which helped alot. I did some other frequency mods but can't remember but you have to be careful which one you eliminate as it can ocillate easily and freak if you change to much.
