This was a message sent to me via Private message; I would like to get in-touch with whomever sent me this to me even thou I realize my chances of getting these back are slim to none. Just thought I would post this up for everyone to see:

    Elk Amp Heads
I was browsing Inland Empire Craigslist and came across this ad:

    http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/msg/3982828967.html

I purchased the amps from a 20 year old man in Moreno Valley, CA. On the way there, he told me that he had other offers and we agreed on a price of $160 for both heads. After trying to do some research on the amp heads, I stumbled across this thread and now realize that they were stolen. I wanted to notify you, but I would like to get my money back for buying these heads. How should we proceed?

    Thank you.

The Head from the Custom Amp 60, Three speaker amp and the head from the Twin Amp 50 shown next to the Custom Amp 60 within this picture of all four amps. I forgot to add that these amplifiers disappeared 6 months ago and to finally hear that they have surfaced is a positive thing.

Can't you simply 'Reply" to the private message?

Could have, but it was blocked from receiving private messages. It was the point that if you wanted to contact me about this and then not allow a reply. what else could i do but this. I did not mention this persons handle since they only have one post to their name on this site.

But at least you can tell what was the name of the user who send you the message. Even if the private messages are blocked, you can see the name of the user.

Recovered. My thanks goes out to a young musician names Nick to whom I thanks him for his honest efforts to contact me after reading online that the amplifiers that he just got a great deal on from craigslist were indeed a very hot item.

He took the time to gather all the information from the seller to include the orginal ad, to the key information that I need to not only locate but have the guys in Blue pay them a short visit.

I now have faith once again in some of the young people raised by good parents, who still uphold the values and knows the difference between what is right and what is wrong. Thank you very much. My small herd is now back at home and soon will be grazing on the Blues....
