Which one would you choose if you wanted to get a great rock sound?
Orange or Marshall (any model)? Which would you choose? and Why?

Point is that what I like might not be what you like. Not only, that if I play through your amp using your guitar, it won't sound the same - a lot of your tone is in your fingers.

And there is the problem with just WHAT is a great rock sound? ACDC? Jimi Hendrix? Aerosmith? Avril LAvigne?

You can get a good rock sound out of many many amps. The thing is to try many and see which ones please YOU.
