  • Any suggestions for tube replacement for my Behringer 333xl Infinium head?

I have the crappy stock Bugera tubes. But I'm starting to have volume issues, so i think it is time to replace the power tubes, but if I'm goin got replace thoughs I might as well replace the pre-amp tubes as well. Any suggestions for someone who wants very gain?

I don't agree with your thinking on this, but when it comes to tube selection, it is so much a matter of taste. Can you imagine asking the group whether you should play a Les Paul or a Strat and getting a consensus?

The 12AX7s in an amp can last decades, I don;t replace them for age, I replace them when they start acting poorly. Whether you would prefer the Sinos or Sovtek, or one of the othrs is about what you like, nit my tastes.

Power tubes do wear out, and may need changing, though I don;t usually list "volume issues" as a sign of power tube trouble.

If you have volume coming and going, the first thing to my mind is the contacts inside your FX loop return jacks. Also, I'd prolly squirt some cleaner into the speaker impedance switch and cycle it back and forth a few times.
