Dynacord Powermate

Hi, can you help.

I have a Dynacord Powermate 1000, which I want to use as just a mixer, and connect it to a pair of Mackie Thump TH-15A Active Speakers. Is this possible and can I use the two EQ L&R output jack sockets on the top RHS of the Dynacord, to connect to the Mackies?

If this is possible, I was going to use Maplins 6.35mm Mono Plug to XLR adaptors (Maplin 6.35mm Mono Plug to XLR Plug | Maplin) to connect the EQ outlets on the Dynacord, to the female XLR sockets on the mixer end of the speaker leads. Should the jacks be mono or stereo?

Yes you can use those outputs from the mixer. I would suggest you use the TRS (stereo) type connector rather than the mono type. This will give you balanced signals going to the speakers for better noise rejection.

Using the EQ L & R out should do you fine.
The output is listed as '0dBu'.

The jack is a balanced signal, so you may be better off not using the 'Mono' type adapter.
If you can, get a 'Balanced' 6.35 to XLR adapter.
