Update:
I use dremmo to grid off the top layer a little, it worked. I can solder onto the chassis of the Marshall. But it is still a little reluctant. The steel is very thick, it's like twice the thickness of the Fender. It works as good as I use my regular Weller station on the Fender Chassis. But if I use this big gun on Fender, it just melt and stick!!!
80W is the minimum for Marshall chassis. If you guys do a lot of chassis soldering, I would go with 100W or higher. But I am happy.
