  • Xstr X-Ref for Peavy Bandit-65

    Good Afternoon all,

I have a Bandit-65 that is need of some transistors and cannot find the original SJ6392's. The cross I found is the 2N3055A. Just wanted a second opinion - should I get these or is there a better cross?

    Thanks!

    See if this helps:

It's toward the bottom of page 4.

Enzo should be able to tell you for sure and there are several other threads here on this very topic.

Nah, just replace them with MJ15003, or MJ15024 is you happen to have them.

You can also order from Peavey direct and they will send you their 70483100.

Peavey will also gladly send you their semiconductor/transistor cross reference list, contact customer service.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Thanks for the input. Any performance issues on using the MJ15003 or MJ15024 instead of the SJ6392?

          The SJ6392 crosses to a MJ15015 or a 2N3055A.

The transistors that Enzo recommended will work fine.
The simply have a higher voltage rating. (100V vs 180V).
