Ampeg VT-40 Reverb Tank Replacement - Anyone done this?

I must of missed this thread previously. If the reverb tank springs are intact & the transformer coils are good, you can improve the tank by making sure the coils are mounted solidly. You can use toothpicks to wedge the coils in place. Also you can use a drop of superglue where the springs connect on each end & in the middle of the springs where they are riveted together.

I just put a drop of glue on the sides of the transducers.
