Hi, guys. i have a behringer inuke nu 3000 power amp in for repair dead with mains input fuse blown.
Before replacing fuse again,I have replaced the following parts which were found to be s/c o/c or blown up.
In output stage on A channel r54 12 ohm 5w o/c
ic 15 blown. ic10 lm35dm temp sensor ic totally short on all pins. Then in the power supply found
D78/D88/D81/D87 were all s/c.In the same circuit found ic4 blown up,r37 burnt out and opto ic5 was
knackered aswell. Then found D16 [ 18v zener ] was s/c along with D21 and C30.I checked all output devices in power supply and sound output stages. They all read ok.Upon switching on red leds will
flash 4 times,a sort of error code I suspect and no sound and no power supply output. These switch
mode power supplies are very clever but I still prefer the brute force simplicity of a wacking great
transformer and large smoothing blocks.Anyone any ideas or should I cut my losses and bin it.
Kind regards, Peter ( Byronboy)
