Transformer question -multiple secondaries

Guys and gals,
I've seen some r-core xformers with readings like this:
18V-0-18V
0-9V
0-9V

I know the first is 18 V center tapped, but what do those 0-9V leads mean? Can't find it anywhere, some of youse must know?

It just means that they are 9V secondaries. "0" is just the start of the winding and 9V is the other end. There are two independent 9V secondaries on that transformer. Without further data we do not know if they have the same current rating. If they did then they could be used together to make a 9V-0-9V secondary or, stated a different way, the equivalent of an 18V Center Tapped secondary.

If you understand 18-0-18, then leave one end wire not connected and you have then 18-0. Same idea as 9-0.

18V-0-18V is 36V center tapped.
