does anyone one know if my btr1sl low voltage fuses both blow but the valves side of the amp is still all alight is their a common reason why they would be blowing or mite it be something major wrong in the switching circuit ? can anyone help me

If you have schematics, it would be great if you could either post them or link us to them. And just my opinion, but it would be nice if we used more proper sentences.
If the low voltage fuses blow, first thing I'd check would be the rectifiers for the supplies involved.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

thanx so much when i replaced the little orange peice with 35 written on it and a + leg as 1 of them was dead short i started it up got sound for a bit and the cmos mn4013b smoked up as it must have got a spike aswell when the prob occurred so i replaced the cmos n it sounds sweet asw have have just been swapping some old 12ax7s out n have an orsome sound happening thanx so much for the schems n the diode n reg suggestions so happie thanx again much respect
