  • help needed for fender mustang

    hello good people!!

i am planning to buy fender i v2 combo amp. Right now I'm using an epiphone aj 220 sce electro acoustic guitar. I have not bought acoustic amp because in the near future I will be switching to electric guitar. Could some one tell me whether am i good to go for the amp with my electro acoustic guitar??? does it work well for the acoustics? any ideas or info please kindly share with me. I will be awaiting for the response.

    Cheers!

Work well is subjective. Your electric acoustic will function fine through it for what it is. The limitation will be the 8" speaker IMHO. Don't expect booming low end. I had a friend that plugged an electric acoustic directly into the larger Mustang with a 12" speaker and it sounded fine. It's better if your acoustic has a built in preamp. Most do.

      hey bro,

many thanks for the reply. well, my guitar has an inbuilt preamp and uses a nano flex pick up as well. I needed an amp just to make my practice audible to myself and not to disturb neighbours(ofcourse using a studio headphones). i am truly convinced with the fender combo and having heard about the versatility of the amp , I 've decided to it. Thanks for sharing the useful info. I very much appreciate your help. Thanks!!
