  • epiphone blues custom?????

I can not find any threads on the epiphone blues custom on here. Has anyone played through one, what did you think? There doesn't seem to be much information about it on the net for some reason? good or bad? Harmony-central has a few reviews. If you have played through one tell me what you think.

    Thanks

    Blues custom 30 review

Well, I decided to go ahead and get this amp, I have to say this amp rocks, I really like it alot. Good tone, lots of range with treble, mid and bass controls. I play mostly at home and it is the perfect volume. It can get pretty loud but I have been mostly keeping it on the 15 watt setting. With its class A/AB switch I can play anything I want to. I put a marshall GV-2 guv'nor in front of it and it growls, I hook up my tonelab into it and it sounds great. The same with my digitech rp350. It sounds awsome with no pedals, It handles what ever I throw at it. My ES-335 sounds incredible. My fender was a little thin sounding at first, then I backed off the treble and mid controls and it rocks also. The things I don't like are its weight, no casters are included so I bought a luggage dolly to help out. I would have liked an effects loop and the lack of a foot switch are the down side but you can't have it all, at this price can you? It has 2x12 speakers, I love the rear speaker/tube cover, keeps the kids out. Looks great, built great, designed by gibson. I also tried the crate v32 palomino, WOW great sound right out of the box. With either amp you can't go wrong, the palomino has lots of bass, you can feel it, and an overall beautiful sound. I had some pot troubles with the palomino and thought I would give the blues custom a try, I really like it. So much versatility on what you are able to dial in. Also having the fan on the class A design is a definate plus. I really like this amp, I think it may be a real sleeper for some reason.
