Looks like an old PA converted to an 18 watt Marshall variant. Spitfire, whatever. I would bet it was originally a 6v6 amp. Probably screams if you put a Tube Screamer OD pedal on the input and run it through a decent 12" speaker. You might get a little more out of it by replacing the tube rectifier with bridge rectifier if the B+ is on the low side for el84s and may have enough heater current for another pre tube if you are interested. It's a really nicely built amp, congrats on a great acquisition.
The master volume is post-phase-inverter.
EDITED: I'd suggested bypassing the cathode resistor with a 250 uF cap, but I think that's what the last cap on the board is doing
