Could use some help! Found replacement fans, that are the same as the stock ones, except the amp rating is higher , is this a problem?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How much higher is the current draw?

What are the spec's on the original fan?

Schematic at specs for both fans needed... Generally, a detection circuit just operates a solid state switching circuit. I could be a discrete or an IC. In any case, if the fan is the correct voltage you need to determine if the switch and power supply can tolerated the extra current. My guess is it would be fine. Especially if the difference is within 20 %. If it's double it still may be fine if the supply/ switching circuit is not loaded down.
