  • Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue troubles

I have a Fender Deluxe Reissue that suffered a failure with the footswitch/channel selecting circuit.
It would power on but was stuck in the "drive" position producing very little signal.

I pulled the board.... Replaced all Illinois E-Caps with F&T caps, both K1 and K2 replays, U1.U2.U3.U4 Opamps, both JFETs, cleaned all jacks, replaced PI plate resistors and biased the amp to 65mA.

Clean channel now sounds great. Channel select works but when engaged in "drive" mode the signal is about 1/10th of what it should be.

All voltages look good on the tube socket pcb.

I'll really stuck and would appreciate any help in getting this "drive" channel work properly.

    Thanks,
    Tom

what happens if you turn the master all the way up in red channel?

It's like the Drive pot works (you can hear it increasing the drive) but the MV does almost nothing.

there's a coaxial going to the master,is it ok?
i'd try resoldering some components around, also try bypassing both volume and relay with a wire from R19 to R28
