Trace Elliot C100 Speed Twin

I just picked up a mint condition Trace Elliot C100 Speed Twin. It did not come with any footswitches. There is an 8 pin DIN jack for a 5 function footswitch. I cannot find any info on the original footswitch that Trace Elliot sold but did get a schematic of the amp and see that I can build one with momentary switches.
I would like to be able to have LED's on this homemade footswitch to be able to see what condition the switched functions are in. Does anyone have a schematic of the original footswitch?

I was able to find out more about the original (unavailable) footswitch. It seems that the original footswitch had a duplicate digital switching circuit that is in the amp itself. This is how it was able to have indicating LED's for the switch functions.
I have since talked to a tech at the US service center for Trace Elliot and he said without this circuitry it's impossible to get remote indication.
The best I can do is to build a footswitch with the appropriate momentary switches, multiconductor cable and DIN plug (which I found at Mouser) and not have indicating LED's.
It's worth it since this amp sounds really good and I will be able to remotely control Channel Selection, Boost, Master Selection (this amp has 2 switchable master volume controls) and the Effects Loop.

I did build the footswtich without any indicating LED's. It works well and my son, the actual user of the amp, is very happy with it.

Gibson Super Goldtone

Thought I'd post a few pics of my Super Goldtone, 30 watts Class A, 1x10" and 1x12". Currently using a 2 button footswitch, but wish I had the 5 button (non-latching) footswitch under discussion here.

Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. As I mentioned before, my son has the amp at school. He finally brought the footswitch home yesterday so that I could take pictures. See the attached JPEGs.

It’s pretty simple:

Refer to the attached “Switching Circuitry” document. This has excerpts from the Schematic manual and describes how the switching works and gives a printout of the pins on the mini-din jack. The Trace Elliot amp supports two footswitches as shown on the diagram. Just reference one of them.
You basically short the appropriate pin to the ground pin , 0V, with a momentary switch to activate that function.
I bought the 8 pin mini-din plug from Fry’s. You can also order it from Mouser I believe.
I also bought the momentary switches from Fry’s. You can see from the picture of the inside of the footswitch that I am just using one switch per function then shorting the appropriate line to a common that is wired to the 0V pin as per the diagram.
I used heavy duty heat shrink tubing to reinforce the strain relief for the mini din plug since I saw this as a potential weak link.

Post Construction Notes:

My son asked me to include his comments on the construction…

The switches are a little too close together (he has size 15 feet!)
The box is a little too tall.
Once I find a more suitable enclosure, I’ll probably rebuild it.
