  • My 1987 Gorilla GG-20

    It works great until you move the amp cord then the sound cuts out. Do I have a bad input? I’ve tightened all connections and I can’t find anything

    Could be a broken solder joint on the input. Will have to open up the amp and look at the solder connections on the PCB.

          Some bad cords can act strange.
          Before you tear into it, be sure and try a different cord.

            Or jack contact may be worn/dirty/twisted/weak so when moving plug it loses contact on some positions.
            With chassis open move plug to see if you can reproduce the problem.
