if an old foot switch from a peavey bandit or express would work (perform basic channel switching) with a pv 6505 combo?

I'm considering getting a 6505 112 combo but it doesn't come with the foot switch. (which to me is stupid. drop a grand, no basic foot switch???)

The other amp im considering is a marchall dsl40c simply on principle. But I'll admit i love lots of distortion and the 6505 can't really be beat for $1000.

The Classic 30 switch will work.

Probably not, but call Peavey. Be prepared to tell them the exact model of the amp/s your footswitches are for and the exact model/series 6505 you hope to use it with. There were many models in the Bandit, Express and 6505 series amps so having the right model numbers will be important.
