3 wire supply cord for a Silvertone 1484 guitar amp

I have a clear understranding for the three input wires. What is unclear is the two caps that go to the center terminal of the ground switch. And the switch. I'm not a tech, however I've built 6 amps including an AC30 clone. I have no trouble with schematics and diagrams. I have the schematic for the 1484, just a little unclear with this simple mod, and am trying to make it safe. Thanks for any help.

Those need to be removed to be safe. Those are what is ominously known as “death caps”.
