  • Question about a vox 1x15 bass cab

A friend of mine just gave me a 1x15 vox cab. It's a 15 inch speaker, the cab uses traditional vox colors, it say vox with letter going top to bottom rather than left to right and in the lower right hand side is says bass. It also has an XLR jack in the back rather than a quarter inch jack. I know it's at least 10 years old but I don't know how old it really is. There is no serial number that I can see. It's got the JMI sticker on it with a place to stamp the serial but nothing is actually written there. I plan on selling this thing because I have no use for it, but before I do I need to find out what I have so that I can know what to list it as. If anybody knows any websites where I can get some information about this type of thing, or if you know something about it like what it's model is, how old it might be, and a general idea of what it might be worth (because I have no clue) then I would be very greatful.

I can't remember when I've last seen a single 15" but it looks like a mid to late 60s VOX Foundation Bass cabinet.
Worth? I don't know and I've only seen a few of them.
Probably worth around $500-$600 or more depending on what speaker is in it and how bad someone wants one.
Prices of vintage VOX gear has soared in recently years and months so it could be worth more now that I have not been paying attention to classic VOX prices.

I just called a VOX collector friend of mine and he said.. "does it have four little cups let in the top lid?"
I assume so the amp head can sit in it.

It's got 2 rectangular cups in each side (a total of 4) that seem kinda like handles but there is nothing on the top.
