about 4 or 5 years ago i bought a Traynor Yba 2 Bass Mate with EL84's, when i first recieved the amp it was moddified quite a bit and sounded like garbage, i went ahead and put it back to stock which i of course was not impressed with so with few tweaks i got it acceptable for a while,
i think that now is the time to do something with this amp, but i am not sure what to do, i am open to suggestions on what to do, i am open to just about anything from simple tweaks to pulling the board and putting together a new one utilizing the exsisting PT and OT as well as tube layout of two EL84's and two 12AX7's (or tubes of the same pinout)
sorry for the length of the post but i am hoping someone can give me some ideas.
