Do you think the OEI AC30 Xfrmr could be used for a 40+ Watt 2xEL34 amp? I bought one a while back for an AC30 clone. Never got around to building it for various reasons.

Why odon't you e-mail Joe directly and ask him. He used to hang out with the other looneys on the old Ampage board but we haven't seen him in a while - darn it!
I've not used any of his products but over the years they gained high praise on this forum and Joe was always willing to address any issues - be they positive or negative - concerning his products which, IMHO, speaks well of any business.

IMO that OEI AC30 OT will work fine for your 40W 2xEL34 amp.
