What different between guitar amp with Hi-Fi tube amp out transform
what is imporatant tube guitar amplifier out transform?
If the Hi-fi tube amp's out transform replace guitar amp's out trsnform?
    Thanks

Well the obvious difference that springs to mind is that Guitar Amps are set up to push tubes over factory- recommended limits (to get distortion and other crazy sounds), whereas HiFi Amps are designed to get the least amount of distortion possible. But there's all kinds of wierd blendy Gueetar Amps out there...

Guitar OTs are specified for a narrower bandwidth, generally -3dB at 50Hz - maybe 10kHz at full power, whereas hifi are 20Hz - 20kHz or more. The extra octave low end means that they need twice as much iron to avoid saturation. The extra top end means that the windings have to be interleaved, so generally all the windings must be used, can't have taps ie put the secondary sections in series or parallel to match different loads - Peter

could we use hi Fi OTS being guitar amp OTS?

          Yes, but
1/ they will be bigger & heavier
2/ hifi will be designed for minimum distortion, a standard hifi design will usually have different primary impedance because of this (compared to an equivilant designed for guitar).
But I have read that some Dr Z amps have a incorporated a hifi power amp and have a very good tone.

HiFi transformers sound fantastic in guitar amps. Just look at the early Marshall amps that used off the shelf HiFi transformers. You can't have too good an output transformer.

Absolutely.Just because an OT has a wider freq.response or wont distort doesnt make it less desireable for a guitar amp,you dont want your OT to saturate or distort anyway.Thats the tubes job.

I understand there are two way to deal with OT of guitar amp
                1. HI-FI same OT, fewer distortion, wide rang, heavey and larger
2.special OT, have distortion , smaller

i bought an output transformer off ebay for my first build (essentially a 5e3). it was a hartley turner output transformer from the 40's (according to the seller) i didnt know wether the impaedance matching was for 6v6's, but it worked. using it i got alot of headroom that i wasn't expecting, as i heard 5e3's have very little headroom. the windings shorted out somewhere, so i replaced them with a tranny made for a deluxe (was going to use it for a ac15so i had it around). there was deffinately a big difference in headroom. the new tranny would allow the amp to break up much sooner. im sure its partially due to the no. of primary windings being different, but the ifi ot deffinately had a cleaner sound. i didnt notice a change in volume, but there may well have been one.

i plan on rewinding the tranny at some stage, but ill see when.

I've build a couple of guitar amps using old 60s hifi OTs and they were great. A Radio Spares OT like used in some JTM45s and some rare AC30s was an off-the-shelf 60s hifi OT and I think/guess a nice Partridge OT (Hiwatts) would also work greatly in a hifi-amp.

Most, if not all, distortion comes from the circuit and the tubes, the OT will only enhance the voicing of the amp and distortion.

The OPT is important in tube amp

I look through all topic of these question. They gave me many help, I think OPT is very importance than tube and circuite. These answers let me know what problem is. HI-FI opT will reduce the distortion of circuit and tube.

A Hi-Fi OT wont reduce distortion of the circuit or tubes,it comes after both and just reproduces what the tube and circuit feed it.
