hey, i am a 17 yr old guitarist been playing for 10 years in a variety of classical and rock styles, but hav had no experience really with any number of amps. does anyone hav any suggestions for a budget medium sized amp, that can make a bit of noise (also, available in aus would b good, lol). Im not necessarily against any cheapers solid state options, but opinions wanted, cheers

I think the Epiphone Valve Junior Combo can be had for about 150 bucks. A little smaller speaker than what I would have selected for it, but think it's possible to "shoe-horn" a 10 inch inside it. Also, very easy to add a few mod's to really tighten up the tone and add a little chime, and very easy to drop in electronic power scaling for that cranked power tube sound at low sound volumes.
