  • Trouble locating bias resistor

    Can anyone show me a picture of where the bias resistor is on a Mesa Lone Star? I have the damndest time reading a printed circuit board.

    If you trace the blue/red wire from the PT to the board it will lead you to your bias circuit.

      And what exactly do you mean by "the" bias resistor?

        I mean the resistor that Mesa puts in so that the bias current is always the same; I want to put in a trimpot as Stokes has done to get an adjustable bias and thus have a fighting chance at getting power tube distortion out of a Mesa
