How can I set this up to switch between two output tubes?

Hello and Merry Christmas to everyone!

I'm building a little champ amp and wanted to be able to switch between 6v6 and EL84 tubes. I didn't want to set it up where I would have to pull one and put in the other.

Is there a way to add a switch to be able to switch between either a 6v6 or a EL84?

i believe a switch to remove the ground reference from the tube(s) works. havent done it though. you would need enough heater current for both tubes as well.

Thank you for the reply. Wouldn't I also want to disconnect the input signal?

dont think thats neccesary, without a groun reference, the tube does nothing

Thank you, Do you think it would hurt the amp to switch between the two while the amp is on?

i dont think so, it wouldnt be all that different from turning the high voltage on and off, but there may be a loud pop, that might be best to avoid.
