  • Building a peavey 6505 clone

hi my dad is helping to build a 6505 clone. (with some mods)
I have a copy of the schematics and parts list from peavey.
and i own a Peavey 6505 to look at.

has anyone here made this amp before or had any problems with the
    schematics from peavey.

any tips or advice would be great.

I have thought about building one myself. If you don't mind I'd like to get a soft copy of the parts and schematic. Let me know how your build goes. Sounds awesome.

I built a 5150(=6505) clone according to Peavey schematics and it was OK.

You can always get everything from Peavey for asking. COntact customer service there.

didn't a guy named Bugera do this too?

Are you going to clone the PCB? The latest PV schematics often omit one side (JSX) although the earlier ones have everything (XXX)

IMO you will need a PCB! P2P or turrets will likely scream in that design!
