  • Best noval tube sockets???

    Hello amp builders friends,

I'd appreciate knowing about your experience with new production noval sockets.
There's a plethora of different brands / makes and I'm wondering which are good.

Which one do you use / like best?
What do you think of the Belton?

    Thanks for sharing folks,

    Victor

Personally, I don't care about the brand. I prefer to just get some good ceramic ones as opposed to phenolic or nylon or whatever that plastic is. These are what I use, and I like em just fine: http://tubesandmore.com/

I like the Belton ones, they are sturdier. I haven't found a ceramic one that had durable enough pins yet. All the pins in ceramic ones I have had are made from thin crappy metal. (But maybe that is just the particular ones I could lay my hands on?)
