mallory pvc caps

any body use these mallory caps in a build? they are used in trainwrecks.

I think as mylar film/foil caps go they are well regarded, although not made any more I believe. People also like the CDE WMF Series considered a close replacement for Ceracaps, Black Beauties, and Pyramid IMP types.

I prefer polypropylene foil film, currently using STK KP80S caps.

(might be misremembering, but) I remember reading a post/discussion where someone said SBE made those (same ones Glen K. is currently selling, no? They look extremely similar to SBE Orange Drops 6PS series), so if the looks are not important, maybe buy SBE instead? BTW, something I noticed relatively recently is that the "Mallory" ceramic disc caps I bought from Mouser some time ago had "KCK" on them, and KCK is Mitsubishi Materials, who apparently recently sold their ceramic disc business to a Taiwan firm.

edit: and also, you could always buy some from glen if 20n is the value you need and you want the branding
